About Department

Department of History was established in the year 2001. Along with academics, it strives to promote Experiential learning through Excursions or Educational visits and Participative learning through activities like Play on Historical Themes and Model Building. Remedial Lectures were conducted for slow learners.

To understand the FUTURE, One must have the knowledge of the past. Our motive is to explain the facts in a lucid and presentable manner to the students for better understanding. After graduation, students can choose various career options like Teaching, UPSC and State Public Services, Archaeology, Numismatics, Journalism, Writer etc. Department motivate students to prepare for Competitive Exams like UPSC, UGC-NET, MH-SET and others through YOUTUBE CHANNEL. Department also focus to provide the current relevant knowledge regarding the subject which helps them to excel in academics and make them aware of the human values.
