About Department

The Department of Commerce began its journey with relentless efforts since its inception. The Department is divided into two division (A & B). It provides students with the latest information in the field of business and trade and train them to apply the same practically in modern organizations.

The curriculum as prescribed by University of Mumbai in the Department is highly application-oriented, so the Department follows a multi-faceted teaching methodology with a variety of programs through lectures, tutorials, seminars and workshops, assignments and industry exchanges. The Department encourage an attitude of objective inquiry among its students. It encourages students to participate in various research programmes which are conducted at various levels.

The Department has qualified and experienced faculty members. The Department encourages students to participate in Social outreach programs which is an integral part of the departmental activities. The Department also strive to inculcate the values among the students through activities and workshops. The Department has proven its excellence through a dedicated staff, and enthusiastic students consistently bringing accolades to the Department in its academic and extra-curricular activities.
