About Department

Accountancy is one of the important courses in Bachelor Degree in Commerce. The Department of Accountancy was established since the inception of the college. The department comes under the Faculty of Commerce. Department is quite active to promote and encourage students for higher education including professional degrees after graduation. M.Com (Advanced Accountancy) was introduced in the year 2020-21.

The core objective of Accountancy Department is to offer solid foundation of Accounting knowledge and skills among the students and to teach Professional values and the spirit of self-development. The department is actively involved in organizing the different activities for the development of students. The department is empowered with highly qualified and competent teaching faculty. The Syllabus is framed by the University of Mumbai which is subject to regular upgradation based on the market needs. The department always motivate the students to participate in different activities which can develop the sense of  competency and constructive thinking which are essential for the progress of the student as well as the society.
