About Department of M.COM DRT’s A.E. Kalsekar College had come with Master of Commerce (M.COM) Choice Based Credit, Grading and Semester System CBCS programme with two different specialization field Advance Accounting and Business Management in the year 2020.
Master of Commerce is of 2 years full time course which content of 04 Semester M.COM –I in first
year the subjects are common for Semester I & II for the second year it will of two different
specialization.
1. M.Com is a platform where students can excel with the advanced knowledge of Accountancy
Financial / Cost accounts, Direct /Indirect Tax, Corporate finance, Financial Management
systems, format, various principles standard and laws. students learns to develop how to make
proper uses and prepared to handle the task in financial terms occurs in business, students also
learn how to minimize the cost of production and increase the profit margin with the acconting
principles they learn to use in a best way of available funds, the student learn the managerial
skills through Business Management, different matrix, models, Organisational theories,
Human Resources planning, Consumer Behaviour models, 4Cs, 7Ps to be apply for better
results with innovative ideas and quality-based education.
2. Master Programme create a benchmark in the field of education, to set a good example
for the industries and as well as for the society.
3. Through this Master programme we guide and trained the students with the help of quality-based education, knowledge, experience through lectures, seminars, workshops, events,
activity conducted also scheduling guest lecture delivered by some of the expert or high-profile
person from the corporate world.
4. To shape and refine the students career by providing qualitative teaching, co-curriculum
activities, by modifying it to give a definite shape, also prepare the students to be a dynamic
leader/ smart manager by applying the basic concept of learning and giving them an
opportunity to exploring themselves to be successful in their professional life.
