Economics
The Department of Economics was established in the year 2001 and is committed to impart quality based education to the students of Arts and Commerce. It offers Three Years Choice Based Credit System for B.A. and B. Com. programme. The department also provides latest information and knowledge to the students to make them better citizens and to meet the global challenges, not only in the field of economics but in all walks of their life. Our objective is to empower the students with critical, analytical, and creative use of subject to understand the socio-economic environment and approach the contemporary problems with better solutions to serve the society and humanity.
Apart from the above, Department of Economics conducted many co-curricular activities along with its regular lectures to impart effective learning and practical knowledge of the subject among the students. The efforts are taken to create an academic environment that is learning by doing, achieving academic excellence is the mission of the college.

- To teach students the concept of public finance, Indian Financial System and International Trade and the formulation of fiscal and monetary policy.
- To make students competent, efficient and knowledgeable to meet the need of global economic challenges.
